   Leaving CâmpulungCoffee in the garden, then the road east, through Gura Humorului.

   Poiana MiculuiThe church, the cemetery, a walk through the village. If you want to ask anyone about a surname, this is the hour: people are at home.
3. 10:45
   PleșaFifteen minutes uphill. Half an hour is enough for the village and the view.
4. 11:45
   Solonețu NouThe oldest of the three. The Polish House, the church, a conversation if you run into someone from the Sołonczanka.
5. 13:00
   LunchNearby, at a Romanian inn: ciorbă in a bread loaf and something off the grill.
6. 14:30
   CacicaDown into the mine: the chapel of Saint Barbara, the ballroom, the salt lake. About an hour and a half underground.
7. 16:30
   The basilicaTen minutes from the mine, above ground. In summer the brine pools next door are open.
8. 18:00
   The way backAn hour to Câmpulung. In the evening, a fire in the garden and quiet.

The mine at Cacica is in practice closed on Mondays, and the village churches are sometimes open only for mass. Call a day ahead or write to us: we will check.
