To your heart's content
In Bucovina people eat slowly and plenty: soup in a bread loaf, porcini in cream, trout pulled from the pond in front of you, papanași the size of your fist. From Câmpulung you have, within a short walk, the bistro with glazed ribs, the inn with portions from another era and the market where you buy sheep's cheese for breakfast on the grass. Staying at La Cuib you're not forced to pick one good place: you try them in turn, one evening after another, and walk home.
Timpii și kilometrii sunt cei din Google Maps, cu mașina, de la poarta casei. Pentru brânza făcută sub ochii tăi, sus, la munte: the shepherds' folds in the area.

Modern cooking with local accents: chicken with porcini, a pork-and-turkey duet, forest-fruit cake. Wine bar and café in the same place, a playground a few steps away for families. Book at weekends.
