Adrenaline up

Adrenaline up in Bucovina: chairlift, shooting range, ATV and a kilometre of flight

Bucovina isn't only contemplative. It has an old chairlift that climbs slowly and drops you at the top, in the wind; a shooting range 12 minutes from the house; forest roads where an ATV earns its keep; a river with rapids and a kilometre of cable stretched over the Obcini. At night the house is warm, the meals are long and the cheeks are red.

Why Câmpulung Moldovenesc is the right base for adventure in Bucovina

Because everything is under an hour away and in different directions: the Vatra Dornei chairlift and slopes to the west, the shooting range and ATVs 12 minutes away on Izvorul Alb, Rarău and the Transrarău road above the town, the Bistrița with rafting to the south and the Palma Pass zipline to the north. At La Cuib you sleep in the middle, in a whole house, with a place to dry your gear and a garden where the pulse comes down at night.
